What are the proper mechanics for a net fault called by the R2?

The R2 whistles, steps to the side of the fault and signals net fault, then signals loss of rally, and finally gives the number of the player at fault.  The R1 mimics the R2's signals.

Let's get all officials on the same page with mechanics.  One major step would be getting net faults correct.  What should the officials do on a net fault called by the R2?
